Andrée De Serres, LL.L., MBA, Ph.D.

Andrée De Serres is Professor at the Quebec University in Montreal (UQAM) School of management. She holds the Chair of Ivanhoe Cambridge in real estate, she is co-director of the International group of research in financial and fiduciary ethics (GIREF φ ) and director of the Executive MBA program specialized in corporate finance.

She is a lawyer, holds an MBA, a post grad and a PhD degree in administration. She has over 15 years of practice with her own law firm and as an executive of various financial institutions. She is guest Professor at Paris-Dauhpine University and teaches the course of Master Strategy and Executive DBA. She is also a research associate of the CEREFIGE Laboratory in Nancy (France) and member of various boards such as the Scientific Advisory Board of the Fondation Palladio dedicated to education and research in real estate in France, the board of directors of Batirente and the board of trustees of the Quebec Bar association investment retirement fund.

Her teaching and research interests focus mainly on three areas: 1) the evolution of organizational diversity, their governance and their financing; 2) the governance of financial institutions; 3) innovative legal financial arrangements applied to real estate projects and infrastructures. She has published numerous articles in both academic and professional journals and has delivered more than a hundred conferences on these areas.
