Andrée De Serres is a full professor at the University of Quebec in Montreal School of Management (ESG UQAM). She holds the Ivanhoé Cambridge Chair in Real Estate and is the director of the Observatory and center for promoting innovations in real estate (OCVI2).
A lawyer by training, she holds an MBA and a doctorate in administration (Ph.D.) specializing in technology management and finance. She has also been a visiting professor at Paris Dauphine University and several other French universities. Andrée De Serres has directed and continues to direct numerous graduate students in Quebec and France. During her career, she has accumulated multiple academic and professional achievements including numerous publications, communications and audiovisual productions in the field of governance, risk management and investment.
Her work addresses the evolution of the concepts of governance, climate governance, ESG issues, fiduciary responsibility, social responsibility, risk management, responsible investment, sustainable real estate, management of social, environmental and economic impacts, applied to both companies and financial institutions and investors operating particularly in the real estate and infrastructure sectors.
